Proposal App for iPhone, Android & Windows Mobile:
PhoneCaddy

I've been working on a mobile app for scouting and exploring golf courses, and have posted a prototype of the app here.
This version of the project is done entirely in Flash, but I'm working on a version for Android, which will ideally use the phone's GPS and compass to view each course before (or while) playing through it in real life.
As I don't have all the time in the world, only one course is currently available, and I've placed three others in the menu to give an idea of what it should look like when more are added. |

I recently finished a series of entries on user experience, entitled "28 Things Everybody Should Know." (The word "everybody" is a tad misleading, as it's meant for interaction designers and the like, who hardly account for 100% of the population.) I discussed one topic each day: human factors, process efficiency, product safety, consumer advocacy, and so on.
I'm storing the entries on my WordPress for the time, but I'm working on editing and compiling it into an actual book. So for now, it can be found here. |

I've been working on a series of icons to serve as a way to call attention to problems with user experience design. The idea is not just to offer a sound bite, stuff every little problem into a folder and call it a day, but to study each of the eight problems individually, so when examples of each probelm arise, it will be easier to classify, explain in plain English for both developers and users, find a suitable solution and move on.
